Join us for a hike up Kamiak Butte!

Enjoy a view of the entire Palouse.

~1 mile hike

Meet at the Orchard Street church at 6:15 p.m.

(We would like to carpool as much as possible due to limited parking.)

If you choose not to hike, meet at the bottom of Kamiak Butte at 7:00

Directions From Pullman:

Take State Highway 27 North 11 miles.

Turn left on Clear Creek Road for .5 mile.

Turn left on Fugate Road (Road No. 5100).

Travel .5 mile to Kamiak Butte County Park Road (Rd. No. 6710) to the park entrance on the left.

Thanks to everyone who came to our Relief Society activity, we had a wonderful time!

Now, for everyone that wants to be in the drawing for a prize...your assignment is (1) to give someone not of your faith your jar and mention the church when you do, and (2) REPORT back here on the blog (in comments). This opens up the opportunity to talk about the church and the gospel if it naturally comes. Elder Ballard said, "We need to be honest, open, forthright, engaging, respectful of others' views, and completely nondefensive about our own."

Summer Ice Cream-in-a-bag

1 T. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/4 t vanilla
6 T. rock salt
Ice Cubes

One large sealable bag and one sandwich size sealable bag. Fill large bag 1/2 full of ice and rock salt.
Measure milk, sugar and vanilla into small bag and put inside large bag.
Shake about 5 minutes...ENJOY!!!
Perfect treat for warm (hopefully) summer days.
